The Ministry Training Strategy (MTS) has begun offering a new pathway called MTS Hybrid. MTS Hybrid apprentices study part time and do hands-on work part time. MTS has invited Groundwork to partner with them as one of the training providers for this Hybrid pathway.

Groundwork is offering a government-accredited programme specifically for MTS Hybrid apprentices, comprising a Certificate IV in the first year and a Diploma in the second. It will require:

1. •Certificate IV — 520 hours, or 13 hours per week for 40 weeks
   

2. •Diploma — 550 hours, or 14 hours per week for 40 weeks
   

We believe that our ‘ordinary life’ materials are excellent for these apprentices because:

1. •Groundwork can help you develop godly character in every sphere of life — something apprentices will need whatever they end up doing after MTS.
   

2. •Groundwork gives apprentices experience with resources they can use to lead others in the ordinary Christian life.
   

3. •For those going on to further theological study, Groundwork provides a solid framework for applying the Scriptures — an invaluable tool for theologically trained specialists.
